Hunter Henry – Start Em Let’s kick things off with Hunter Henry of the New England Patriots. The Patriots recently suffered a blow with Kendrick Bourne‘s ACL tear, leaving a void in their receiving corps. Henry had early-season success with Mac Jones, and although there’s some uncertainty with the trade deadline looming, he’s poised to shine against the Washington Commanders. The Commanders have been generous to tight ends, allowing 254 yards and four touchdowns to the position this season. In fantasy terms, that’s roughly 18.35% and a touchdown, making Henry a top-five option for Week 8. Expect more of the same in Week 9 against the Bengals, who’ve been vulnerable to tight ends lately.
Donald Parham – Start Em Another tight end to keep an eye on is Donald Parham of the Los Angeles Chargers. With Gerald Everett‘s ineffectiveness and injuries, Parham has emerged as a reliable option. He’s hauled in four touchdowns this season and faces a New York Jets team that has given up a league-high five receiving touchdowns to tight ends. Over the last four weeks, the Jets have allowed 16 catches and 162 yards, making Parham an enticing fantasy option.

Trey McBride – Sit Em But not every tight end is a treat this week. Trey McBride of the Arizona Cardinals faces a tough matchup against the Cleveland Browns, who’ve been stingy with fantasy points to tight ends this season, allowing less than five points per game. While McBride had a standout performance last week, don’t chase those fantasy points. The Browns’ defense is a formidable opponent, and relying on McBride this week might leave you with a fantasy tummy ache.
David Njoku – Sit Em Sticking with the Browns vs. Cardinals game, David Njoku is another tight end to avoid this week. The Cardinals have been elite at defending tight ends, allowing only one touchdown in the last five weeks. Even Mark Andrews struggled against them last week. Expect a less-than-stellar performance from Njoku this week.
Cole Kmet – Sit Em Finally, we have Cole Kmet of the Chicago Bears facing the New Orleans Saints. This game is in New Orleans, one of the spookiest places in North America, and tight end, the scariest position in fantasy football. The Saints have been a top-tier defense against tight ends, allowing less than nine fantasy points per game. Last week’s outlier performances should not tempt you into chasing fantasy points this week.
